INTERCESSOR'S
THE BURNING ALTAR
Our Core Scripture:
“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” — Leviticus 6:13 KJV
Mission Statement
To keep the flame of intercession burning continually before the Lord—fasting, praying, and declaring His Word until healing, deliverance, and mercy are poured out upon His people. We stand as living altars, keeping the fire of revival alive through repentance, worship, and unwavering prayer.
Vision Statement
To see the hearts of God’s people restored, families redeemed, and the Church revived by the cleansing fire of the Holy Spirit. As the altar fire never went out in the tabernacle, so we commit to a continual offering of prayer and fasting until our generation burns again for Christ.

Old Testament Intercessor's
1. Abraham for Sodom and Gomorrah — Genesis 18:22–33
Abraham bargains with God to spare the cities if righteous people are found there. He appeals to God’s justice and mercy. This is one of the earliest and clearest models of intercessory prayer.
2. Moses for Israel — Exodus 32:9–14; Numbers 14:11–20; Deuteronomy 9:18–29
When Israel sinned with the golden calf, God’s wrath burned against them, but Moses stood in the breach. He even offered to be blotted out of God’s book if it meant Israel could be spared. His prayers changed the outcome.
3. Samuel for Israel — 1 Samuel 7:5–9; 12:19–23
Samuel prayed and offered sacrifices for Israel when they were under threat. He told them, “God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you.” Intercession was part of his priestly call.
4. Job for his friends — Job 42:7–10
God told Job’s friends that only Job’s prayer for them would turn away His anger. When Job interceded, God restored Job’s fortunes.
5. Elijah for Israel and for rain — 1 Kings 18:36–38; James 5:17–18
Elijah’s prayers brought fire from heaven and later opened the skies after years of drought. His intercession turned a nation’s heart back to God.
6. Daniel for Judah — Daniel 9:1–19
Daniel confessed the nation’s sins as if they were his own, pleading for mercy and restoration. His intercession released prophetic revelation and angelic visitation.
7. Esther for her people — Esther 4–8
Esther risked her life before the king to plead for the deliverance of her people from destruction. Her bold advocacy is intercession in action, not just in prayer.

8. Jesus for His disciples and all believers — John 17
The longest recorded prayer of Jesus — He prays for protection, unity, and sanctification for His followers. Even now, He “ever liveth to make intercession” (Hebrews 7:25).
9. Stephen for his persecutors — Acts 7:59–60
As he was being stoned, Stephen cried out, “Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.” His prayer echoes Christ’s mercy on the cross.
10. Paul for the churches — Ephesians 1:15–23; 3:14–21; Philippians 1:9–11; Colossians 1:9–12
Paul constantly interceded for believers — for wisdom, strength, love, and revelation. His letters are full of prayers that shaped the early Church.
11. The Holy Spirit — Romans 8:26–27
Even when we don’t know what to pray, the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings too deep for words — aligning our hearts with God’s will.
